Faithbooking Funshop: The goal of this funshop is to bring like-minded people together in community and to be able to help each other on our journeys of faith through the visual medium of scrapbooking. Each month we will make a 6x6 scrapbook page based on scripture. Each person will take their scrapbook page home and with God’s help choose a photo that fits the scripture than you bring your completed scrapbook page to the next faithbooking funshop to share. There is no cost to participate in this funshop! Just bring your own straight edge cutter and adhesive. Below are the scriptures we will be focusing on the second Sunday at 1pm of each month for 2009. January: 2 Corinthians 5-17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has gone, the new has come!February: Psalm 23:6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. March: Matthew 9:22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that moment. April: Luke 23: 43 Jesus answered him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.” May: Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred make the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. June: 1John 3:1 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!July: 2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. August: Luke 8:1-15 The Parable of the Sower September: Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of god that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. October: Psalm 9:1 I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. November: Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. December: John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
