1. I don’t have the time to figure it all out myself. I have been scrapbooking for over 11 years and in that time have made 29 scrapbooks and learned too many to count techniques that have brought my level of expertise to great creative heights. 2. I don’t have a creative bone in my body. Thankfully, God has given the creative ability to me and it’s my pleasure to use that gift for others who don’t have it. 3. I don’t have the space needed to work this hobby. I have a wonderful basement studio devoted to my passion and it allows me the comfort to create.4. I don’t have the money to invest in all the neat tools and stuff. I have been collecting tools since I started and have many of the new innovative high-tech tools that make creating easier and efficient. 5. I want to leave something behind for my children. My kids already get lots of enjoyment out of the scrapbooks that I have made. They will be able to look back on a history of their lives. That is just so cool! 6. I want to have something to remember my parents and grandparents and pass down to my children. When my grandparents died it was so sad to sift through all the photos and memorabilia and not have all the names and information on events that happened. But I took what I did have and created a beautiful scrapbook as a tribute to my grandparents. 7. I have a terrible memory. My bad memory is a huge reason why I love photos. My childhood memories are few and far between so photos have helped a lot and getting them into a scrapbook and writing down anything I can remember while it’s still there has been a very good thing. 8. I want to give someone a gift that will be really awesome and meaningful. Scrapbooks make the best gifts. It’s something everyone will love. I made one for my sister’s wedding and a baby’s first year scrapbook for my Aunt-in-law that they still talk about. 9. I have boxes and boxes of photos that just take up space in my house. Getting some of these photos in scrapbooks would be a great way to share and hand down these photos and you can always get the rest of them scanned and put on a CD. 10. I want to share my photos and stories with others. Scrapbooks make great conversation pieces and are a fun way for family and friends to reminisce with each other. SO, if these reasons aren’t enough… stop taking pictures! Contact me to get a custom-made scrapbook created just for you!
